Connecting with others is easier when our ears connect with sounds they recognize. We create meaning based on what we THOUGHT we heard. Sound diversity can be a key reason communication breaks down. It can also make verbal delivery mastery of English challenging for non-native speakers.
Non-native speakers of English create communication based on their native language models, how their ears were trained to the sounds of English and how they themselves have spoken English. Accents are beautiful. They are a part of who you are. Diversity is necessary. It makes life richer.
Clarity is the bridge that allows understanding, connection and progress to take place. We make life a lot easier when our words are clear and easy to understand. Applied Learning Communication Performance Projects
Applying what you have learned to build and deliver performance projects will help you build sustainable results, expand your capabilities and take your communication to the next level. You will work on 5 different projects aligned to each key skill area in the program. Those on the leader and presenter tracks can receive expert feedback on all assignments. On the Standard Track, you will be able to post your performance projects to The Amazing Speaker Forum to receive peer-level feedback.
Expert Feedback
Nothing replaces the wisdom of expert feedback given by real human beings.
You will be assigned a coach- assessor when you begin your program that will be committed to your personal journey of success through the duration of your program. Our online coach assessors are certified in our approach, are business communication, music and vocal performance specialists. Each assignment submitted is reviewed, scored and sent back with detailed feedback and instruction on corrective actions needed to empower you to fix any remaining issues.
The Leader and Speaker Tracks receive 12 feedback loops for foundational learning and 15 feedback loops for applied, performance-driven work.
Skill Assessments with Customized Learning Plan & Next Steps
Receive 1 grammar and writing assessment 2 Full Skill Assessment with Reports & 2 -15 Minute Video Conference Review with a Certified Expert Coach.
We will fully assess your verbal delivery skills at the beginning as well as the end of your 6 month program. You will receive a comprehensive feedback report that will set a benchmark for your journey as well as give you a global view as to what urgent critical focus areas of study should be. You will participate in a 15-minute video conference with one of our experts to receive the first steps of a tailored learning plan. You can then compare your work-study reports against your original benchmark to gauge your overall progress. You will receive one full skill assessment process at the beginning of your enrollment and one after the completion of all milestones - after 6 months of consecutive enrollment in the program.
