The challenges of life can beat us down. Or...challenges can be the catalyst that causes us to expand, and, to rise; the very passageway INTO resilience.
A couple of years ago, I felt my inner sparkle and zest for life had GREATLY diminished. I never wanted for energy, nor passion. Yet, it felt as though life had sucked the very juice out of my spirit. It was as though my world had gone from technicolor to black and white. As a creative with an artistic soul, I needed oxygen - in order to allow my truest voice to breathe, to speak and to blossom.
I needed change.
Change meant closing my exterior eyes to be able to see through the eyes of my heart. As I listened from the inside out, I found that joy is not a giddy emotion caused by external circumstances; it is a state of being arrived at internally - and needs no reason to exist.
The path to joy is truly the road lesser traveled by - but it begins simply; by listening to your inner conversation about the world around you.
I desire to spark a conversation of a different kind; together. I hope you will make the decision to join me. Einstein said that insanity was doing the same thing over and over, hoping for a different result.
